can someone help me with this ? please ? @zepdrix

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\frac{ 10-(3*2^{2}-23)}{(1+10^{2}-2^{2}*5^{2}}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@robtobey could you help ?

OpenStudy (bakonloverk):

oh thats easy i can help

OpenStudy (bakonloverk):

brb tho

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okkkk please hurry tho

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do inside the parenthesis first and the exponent which is 4, so 3*4+12-23=-11 Now 10-11 is -1 Thats the first part, can you do the denominator???

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no i dont get itt

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oops

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well pretend its not a fraction and just an expression ok ill walk you through it, the numerator is solved for you already. do the exponents first so it would become 1+100-4*25 now do the solving in order first multiplication 4*25 is 100 so rewrite it as 1+100-100. the 100 cancels out and the anser is 1 now write it with the numerator -1/1 is your final answer, understand?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah

OpenStudy (anonymous):

good :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so wait what's the answer for the equation was taht it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-1/1 yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but the answer has to be a whole number not a fraction otherwise it'll say its wrong

OpenStudy (bakonloverk):

do -1 divided by 1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I got -1 but it still says it was wrong ugh i hate not being able to do math

OpenStudy (bakonloverk):

ok want me to start from the begining?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it has to be in simplest form and yes please if you can

OpenStudy (bakonloverk):

ok so first what is 2 squared?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

4?

OpenStudy (bakonloverk):

well hold on the first thing u have to do is solve this equation\[10-\left( 3*2^{2}- 23 \right)\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The answer is 21

OpenStudy (bakonloverk):

dont give her the answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

21

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i shall explain if she wants

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

one at a time omg i'm gettin confused

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its 21. Use PEMDAS

OpenStudy (bakonloverk):

do u know how to solve it at all? or are u just accepting his answer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i used my calculator

OpenStudy (bakonloverk):

ok well as long as u know how to do it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i don't like i do but then i don't

OpenStudy (bakonloverk):

what dont u understand?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

she ditched us?

OpenStudy (bakonloverk):

well then

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but its okay cus i dont have time right now have to go somewhere i'll come back later @bakonloverk @yoanjm1 no i didnt ditch you the website didnt send this message
