OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@callie2240 thats correct ! (: .. thanks do you still have time for more ;o ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

two batches of soup will serve 8 people. Lonnie needs to make enough soup for 120 people. if the recipe calls for 2onions for one batch , how many onions will lonnie need ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Mertsj yeahh

OpenStudy (anonymous):

120/8=what? after you get that divide that by 2 @apple69

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it'll be a fraction or a decimal

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Mertsj 10 ? & @callie2240 4.8 ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no, lets start with 120 divided by 8, can you tell me what that is?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@callie2240 15

OpenStudy (mertsj):

I'm leaving now but I just want you to know that the answer to the soap problem is incorrect.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do you know what that is @apple69

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im not good in math ;/ & 15 for the people ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

try 120 divided by 4 ok that'll give you your answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

30 ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes :D thats right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but these are my answers of choice ? a) 240 b) 120 c) 90 d) 60

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok then, give me a sec to look over the prob again

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok i got it now, sorry i read it wrong before lol 2 batches serve 8 ok 1 batch serves 4 ok? 120/4 was right but we forgot to multiply that by 2 to get 60 we need to divide b two because 2 batches of soup is for 8 so the answer is 60 understand?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yess thankss :) ? do you still have time for more

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sure but not much

OpenStudy (anonymous):
