The dimensions of a prism are increased by 10%. By which percent does its volume increase? 30%,1000%,33.1% or 1331%

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Since a prism is a 3-D solid, then there are 3 factors that the increase would affect: the height, the width, and the length. Therefore the increase in volume would be 110% * 110% * 110*, or 133.1%. So the volume increased by 33.1% from its original 100%.

Okay thanks sir!
