What is the factor 3/2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Still working on the other problem?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The 3/2 is the vertical stretch factor since it has a value of greater than 1. Shrinks occur when the value is less than 1. Positive/Negative does not matter.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes, but in this problem, I am required to graph the problem, but my calculator isn't tracing the graph.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What calculator are you using?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Scientific. TI-84 Plus.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You should be able to go to y= and put in \[(3/2) \sqrt{x} -5\] make sure about the window. You might zoom standard.

You sir. Are awesome.

OpenStudy (anonymous):
