'A rectangle has a perimeter of 46ft. & a width of 8ft. Use the Pythagorean Theorem to find the diagonal of the rectangle' I'm using the Pythagorean theorem but I keep getting √ 425 which is 20.6 but my answer sheet says the answer is 17. What am I doing wrong? someone please help

perimeter of rectangle = 2L +2W   = 46ft
and
W = 8ft
so what did u get as your length?
