Question: Identify: What countries are the immigrants coming from? (From 1820-1860) Answer: They were Irish and they were mostly coming from Ireland.

Actually I should say mostly Irish...

Question: Why are they coming to the U.S.? (Events that cause them to move) Answer: The main reason was the bad economy and the uge potato famine they were facing. Famine~extreme and general scarcity of food, as in a country or a large geographical area.

Question: Where did they live in the U.S.? Answer: Most of the Irish immigrants tended to settle inalready existing Irish communities, ones where cultural tradition were carried out and also where there were catholic churches.
