If the dot product of two nonzero vectors v1 and v2 is zero, what does this tell us? A. v1 = v2 B. v1 is parallel to v2. C. v1 is perpendicular to v2. D. v1 is a component of v2. ***my answer; C not sure if i'm remembering this rule correctly though.. is that right @terenzreignz? :)

OpenStudy (dls):

dot product or cross?

terenzreignz (terenzreignz):

It would turn out you did. It's correct~ two nonzero vectors are perpendicular (orthogonal) if their dot product is zero.

dot product :)

ahh! yayy :) hehe thanks!! :D

OpenStudy (dls):

A.B=0 ABcos theta=0 cos theta HAS to be 90 so that LHS=RHS
