i got 3a-9 / b ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

or 3a^9 / b

OpenStudy (jim766):

the issue here is that we don't want to have negative exponents in our answer. everything here will stay where it is, but the a^-9, we got to fix that. \[\frac{ 3a^9 }{ b }\] when you move the a up, you switch the exponent to postive

oh ok thanks
