need help!!which of the following equations has a graph that is narrower than the graph of y= 2x^2 + 3? y=-3x^2+2 y=0.5x^2+3 y=2x^2-3 y=-0.5x^2-2

I got -3x^2+2 is that wrong?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well y=-3x^2+2

OpenStudy (zale101):

Ur correct, cuz the coefficient is -3, that makes it's slope steeper than y= 2x^2 + 3 (2 coffiecent) if u graph y=-3x^2+2 you'll get what i mean

OpenStudy (zale101):

y=-3x^2+2 and y= 2x^2 + 3 in graph |dw:1370285464871:dw|
