SOH CAH TOA is a way of memorizing which ratio is each of the 3 main trig functions. SOH means Sin = Opp/Hyp CAH means Cos = Adj/Hyp TOA means Tan = Opp/Adj

Now look above at the cos part: CAH means cos = adj/hyp The cosine of an angle is the ratio of the adjacent leg and the hypotenuse. For angle C, the adjacent leg is 72 and the hypotenuse is 90, so cos C = 72/90 = 0.8 You are correct.
