Which of the following is not a factor that leads to soil degradation? A. Average rainfall B. Deforestation C. Desertification D. Erosion i think is C but idk can ypu help me out

thomaster (thomaster):

Desertification is a form of soil degradation because the soil will lose water, vegetation and wildlife. So the answer is not C. Deforestation is also a factor which leads to soil degradation because roots normally make the soil steady. Erosion is the removal of soil by wind or water. the soil will be deposited somewhere else. I think Average rainfall is the best answer because the soil can handle that. When it would be heavy rainfall, it could be a factor for land degradation.
