in the book A Tale of Two Cities, who is the hero?

i need three reasons why they are the hero.... and three supporting reasons on those three reasons /:

no i think Sydney Carton is the hero....because he sacrificed his life for Lucie...i read the book in english class i just need help with getting it all together

ok, cool. i agree. so you have one good reason - that he sacrificed his life for lucie. now you just need two more. . . (and then on to a supporting one for each of those!) . . . but first let's work on some other reasons - - why does he appeal to you as hero more than Charles Darnay? is it because Carton had a more dramatic change from where he started?
