This is a 30°-60°-90° right triangle. It has some specific properties related to side length: |dw:1370297769363:dw|
If n = 16sqrt(3), can you find n/2 and (n*sqrt(3))/ 2)?
Can you walk me through it? Don't tell me the answers. I want to learn this
The 30-60-90 right triangle is one of the special right triangles. You must memorize the relationship between the sides:
Start with the short leg...it is opposite the 30 degree angle and it is 1/2 the hypotenuse The long leg is the short leg multiplied by sqrt3 The hypotenuse is twice the short leg.
