A student observes poor growth of plants in a garden containing high clay content. Clay content reduces drainage in soil. Which of these is the best method to improve plant growth in the garden? A) add sand to the soil B) do not dig or till the soil C) water the plants once a month D) mix soil with chemicals which absorb the air
Remove two for me that can't be
Hint: drainage is to draw the water away from the plant, poor drainage makes the soil boggy and drowns the plant
c and b
yep
i feel like its A
what's wrong with D
you're right D because the planets need the air
no, i wanted you to explain to me why you picked A, sorry for being confusing
D is a little more detailed then A
In D your adding chemicals which remove air. Personally i don't know if that is good or bad but it has very little to do with drainage. Sand has very high drainage.
Clay has tiny particle so it's hard for water to get through the gaps while sand has large particles and larger gaps between the particles
D is right because the planets still need the chemicals were the air can be absorb
But the question doesn't even talk about aim. The problem in the question is the poor drainage. This is what it wants you to fix
aim = air
A so the sand will help
yep, that's what i believe
thank you, im almost done with this test few more left to answer
