OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well all of those equations together have to equal to 180 degrees

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well, that doesnt help me much.=/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Lol it will look because all of those together have to equal 180 you can make a bug equation see: 7x + 3x - 5 + 8x +5 = 180

OpenStudy (anonymous):

*big equation now keep all the x's on one and move everything else to the otherwise what's ur simplified equation

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh! okay so its ten? ... i didnt understand how to put the 7x into the equation i was drawing a blank. now i just feel stupid.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yup it's ten and that's okay you just Ned to stare at it until something happened on your mind lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

*something happens

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay, so i have a similar question and it needs the value of x again, the two angles it gives me is 2x and 4x how do i put that into an equation to figure out the value of x? (im horrible at math online school doesnt teach its just gives you assignments)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do u have a diagram?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh simple the two angles have to make 90 degrees so add the two together to have them equal 90

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2x + 4x = 90

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay, so it just needs to equal the size of the angle, which would make it 15?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yup that's correct.
