What is the impact of Physics to you as a student?

i think a lot of people will plump with the answer that physics is about the study of matter and energy and so on, but it might one day be the case that we see motion as the basis of the current study-thing that is called physics.

that will sound simplistic but the big fat white elephant in the room is time.

how much do we know about that?! i'd say virtually nothing. but what little we know is premised upon motion. and upon weird observations like the Second Law of Thermodynamics, that seem so obvious yet silly.
