What are the answer choices?

OpenStudy (bekkah323):

its not a multiple choice question.

I'm solving as if it were (4/9)x -1 = 7/8, rather than 4/(9x) 4/9x -1 = 7/8 start by adding one to both sides, 4/9x = 15/8, then multiply both sides by the reciprocal of 4/9 x = 135/32 else, if its actually 4/(9x) then it would look like 4/(9x) -1 = 7/8 add one to both sides 4/(9x) = 15/8 flip the equation so x is in the numerator 9x/4 = 8/15 multiply both sides by 4 9x = 32/15 divide both sides by 9 x = 32/135

OpenStudy (bekkah323):

it was the first one, thank you
