What are the solutions of the system? y= x^2 + 3x - 4 y= 2x + 2

OpenStudy (luigi0210):

set them equal to each other: 2x+2=x^2+3x-4

OpenStudy (whpalmer4):

Another approach is to graph the two curves. The points of intersection will be the solution(s).

OpenStudy (luigi0210):

why are you so smart palmer? :P
