Identify the vertical asymptote y= 1/x-4 - 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[y = \frac{ 1 }{ x-4 } - 2\]

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

Ahh thank you... Vertical asymptotes occur when the denominator = 0 so what values of 'x' make x - 4 = 0 ??

Thanks(:
