Give an example of coplanar vectors (i.e. make up three coplanar vectors u , v and w ). Then, prove that u , v and w are coplanar vectors.

OpenStudy (raden):

easy :) let given u = [1, 2, 3], v = [2, 3, 4] and w = [7, 12, 17] just shows, that w can represented as w = au + bv (with a, b are the constant) prove : w = 3[1, 2, 3] + 2[2, 3, 4] w = [3, 6, 9] + [4, 6, 8] w = [7, 12, 17] in other words, it can represented w = 3u + 2v so, it is coplanar

Thank you :) You are very helpful

OpenStudy (raden):

glad could help u :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Could you do the same for a non-coplanar one?

OpenStudy (raden):

look at the previous one :)
