You would use the distance formula: \[d = \sqrt{(x _{2} - x _{1})^{2}+ (y _{2} - y _{1})^{2}}\]where you have as points:\[(x _{1}, y _{1})\]and\[(x _{2}, y _{2})\]Just make those substitutions and simplify.
