Help with a few health questions I really can't get?? 20. An inflammation of the tissue under the foot (fascia) caused by overuse and improper athletic footwear. Characterized by intense “start-up” pain under the heel bone: (1 point) pronation plantar fasciitis *my answer osteoporosis osteoarthritis 21. Personal and specific fitness objectives and plans are referred to as: (1 point) specific goals health issues fitness goals *my answer realistic goals 24. A set of actions to offset counterproductive behaviors: (1 point) motivations strategies behaviors changes
oeh i love these questions :) lemme get my book
I don't know half the words <_<
heheh :P I know pronation is movement in the radioulnar joint so you can cancel A
@thomaster lol ok :P
@JA1 haha it's fine. Thanks for trying :)
lol no prob :)
osteo is greek for bone. since this is a tissue inflammation, C and D are false too. Also fasciitis means inflammation of the fascia (connective tissue)
Wow you're smart haha. So is it plantar fasciitis?
yep :)
Awesome thanks! For the second one, I thought it was fitness goals, but I can't find it in my lesson and other people have said health issues and realistic goals.
well specific goals and realistic goals are from the SMART-principle specific goal represents the S, it means setting a productive, effective and workable goal. Realistic goal represents the R, it means goals that you know you can achieve. I think we both agree it's not an health issue. A fitness goal is a plan you make to increase your fitness. This is a hard question because more answers could be correct, it depends on what they teach you to refer it as. If i had to answer this question i'd say realistic goal. because in a specific goal you would note for what body part(s) you are going to increase your fitness. In a fitness goal i'd also not what you're going to train. Just increasing fitness would be the global goal and that's realistic and achievable.
So do you think realistic goal would be the better choice? These tests are annoying because they expect you to know things you haven't even learned.
yes i think realistic goal is the best answer :)
Ok thanks! Do you know about the next one? It's confusing because I think it could be any of them. Behaviors and changes are two different answers btw.
A motivation is psychological feature that arouses you to act towards a goal A strategy is a plan to achieve something. i don't think behavours is the best answer, also changes is too global. My best guess would be strategies but i'm not sure if that's the right one
That's what I was thinking too. Do you think you could help me with one more problem? I think I know the answer but just want to check.
sure
31. Which fats are considered “essential fatty acids”? (1 point) saturated fats unsaturated fats *my answer trans fatty acids all of the above
Yes, essential fatty acids are fatty acids that cannot be synthesized by the body. So you must ingest them. Trans fatty acids are not essential because they have no benefit for humans. I searched for essential fatty acids and i can only find examples which are unsaturated, so i think your answer is correct.
Ok thank you so much for all your help!!! @thomaster
