Multiply (6z2 - 4z + 1)(8 - 3z). 18z3 - 60z2 + 35z - 8 48z2 - 18z + 8 6z2 - 7z + 9 -18z3 + 60z2 - 35z + 8

The list of numbers on the bottom are the 4 possible answers.

I did that and got B. But B was wrong.

OpenStudy (ivettef365):

Well do the multiplication using distributive property (6z^2)(8) = 48z^2 (6z^2)(-3z) = -18z^3 Now keep on with (-4z)(8-3z) and then ((1) (8-3z) then add all the results

OpenStudy (ivettef365):

not really

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(8 - 3z)(6z2-4z+1) 48z2-32z+8-18z3+12z2+3z now solve further! the answer is tha last option!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Farhreen could you illustrate that further? I'm not sure I understand.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@ivettef365 using your theory I got 48z^2 - 18z^3 - 32z + 12z

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Is that right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

BTW i meant 48z2-32z+8-18z3+12z2-3z the first equation is wrong.
