Did you get the final for English? 
For your question, you'll have to put it into more detail but this is what I said: in the story, the professor was arrested, put into jail, and then held for captivity for a little while. Many people considered the professor an intelligent person. in the beginning of the story, he was a nice man with a wife and towards the end of the story, he becomes basically a villain strung out on revenge for people.
