MIT 18.06 Linear Algebra, Spring 2010

Can anyone tell me the difference between Dr. Strang's two linear algebra texts? One is called "Introduction to Linear Algebra," and the other is "Linear Algebra and Its Applications." They are both about the same date, and seem to contain the same material. My library has the Applications book, but not the Introduction book, but the course syllabus recommends the Introduction book. Is one more advanced than the other, or is it just that there is more emphasis on applications? Thank you.
