Which statement about soil color is true? Answer Soils do not vary in color based on their location on Earth's surface. Soils far from the equator are always darker. Soils vary in color based on their location on Earth's surface. Soils close to the equator are always darker.

My best guess would be C, where there is more water you are to have more rich darker soils and where there is not not much water you are most likely to have lighter soils. It's hotter on the equator but there is also water near the equator so I would go with C.
