straight line - 180 degrees sum of interior angles of a triangle - 180 degrees

OpenStudy (goldphenoix):

|dw:1370479686513:dw| Angle D and A are supplementary. Why? Well because they both form a straight line. A straight line has 180 degree. So if angle D has 98 degree, then what does A has to be? 180 - 98 = Angle A. A triangle has a degree of 180. So: Angle A + 32 + x = 180. Simplify and subtract to get your answer! :) I hope this help!
