I think I found the answer...Is it B/C they forced them out of their homes to sell their property and only allowed them to take necessary items?

Yes, that is one of the reasons! Also, it was based completely on race, and it wasn't "due process" in other words, they didn't actually have evidence that these people were conspiring against the government. It was just racism.
