I have filled out the application. What do you think my chances would be?

OpenStudy (mayankdevnani):

i can't say!!! this application is not in my hand. i think you can prefer BOSTON BLUE for that... @BostonBlue

OpenStudy (bostonblue):

the process that goes into choosing ambassadors is rigorous. many people have to keep working and apply a second or even a third time. it's good to gain wide experience welcoming and helping new users. what this means is that even without an A, it is a person who behaves in an exemplary fashion, who loves openstudy, who is always friendly and nice, and who works hard to make it a better place - most people who get chosen to be ambassadors have been behaving like ambassadors already, before they achieve the A.

thomaster (thomaster):

couldn't resist :P

An Ambassadors job is to: •Welcome new comers to the site. •Tell them about the COC, chat, and protocol of the site. •Make them feel good and help them join/feel a part of the community. •Teach them how to give medals when someone helps them, and encourage them to close their questions when done. •Be a friend, mentor, and guide to users on the site. •Invite friends and spread the good word about OpenStudy. •Use social media - FB and Tw to post good things about OpenStudy. Do you think you can handle it? c: \(\Huge\bf\color{#FF0000}G\color{#FF4900}o\color{#FF9200}o\color{#FFDB00}d\color{#FFff00}~\color{#B6ff00}L\color{#6Dff00}u\color{#24ff00}c\color{#00ff00}k\color{#00ff49}!\Huge\color{cyan}{\ddot\smile }\)

thats' a great job description @Kitt020912. i'm going to save it in my text file, so that next time someone asks i can just paste it into the answer! i will give you full credit of course! :) actually i like it better when ambis answer the question, than when i do, so i might just tag you to do it. i'll have to resist using @thomaster 's response. . . though it might be hard sometimes! :)

mathslover (mathslover):

Nice @Kitt020912 , good collection of advises.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@BostonBlue Feel free to tag me to do it, I'll be glad to help. @thomaster did make a great answer. Cx
