Hans Christian Andersen used irony in his story “The Emperor’s New Clothes” to develop his characters and theme.

Identify one example of verbal or situational irony and explain how it helped develop one of his characters or the theme of the story. Your written response should include a minimum of 5-6 sentences.

When looking for Irony in a story, look at the characters actions. I havn't read The Emporers New Clothes, but the actions and word of the character are more important than his thaughts when speaking of Irony.
