WHAT IS THE ANSWER TO Y+1=(X-6)

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

too many unknowns to have an answer...you can solve in terms of 'y' however by subtracting 1 from both sides y = x - 7

can someone help me here?

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

@Guitarestfreak with your question "choose the product"?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Select the correct product. (x2^+6x+9)(3x-1)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

@Guitarestfreak ... multiply (x² + 6x + 9) but (3x - 1) meaning....take 3x ...and multiply every term in those first parenthesis by that... then take -1 and multiply every term in those first parenthesis by THAT... then combine like terms
