Find the area.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

the left part = area of rectangle 9 * 11 + 8 * *(1/2 * 11) (area of triangle)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What?

OpenStudy (hlambach):

You have to find the area to each separate shape, and add them together For a triangle, the formula is: a = 1/2 x b x h Rectangle: a = b x h Trapezoid: a = 1/2 x h (b1 + b2)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

But what about the two shapes in the middle. How do i find them?

OpenStudy (hlambach):

Okay, so you can get the area to the trapezoid because you have two bases and the height listed, you only need to flip the trapezoid.

OpenStudy (hlambach):

uh, nevermind... sry hha let me think...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I got 250.5 total, is that right?

OpenStudy (hlambach):

im making sure

OpenStudy (hlambach):

hum... i guess i was wrong... thats a tough one...

OpenStudy (hlambach):

sry, i thought i could do it... hum... im really sry... cant help you with that one... really sorry... :(

OpenStudy (anonymous):
