Is anyone good at biology that can help me??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What do you need help with? (:

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I need help with this question!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well, what do you know about muscles and movement? Do you really need them to play instruments as much as you need them to play sports? Think logically. c:

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah! but how do I explain it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

anyone??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

When you play an instrument, (depending on what instrument you're playing) they normally don't require a muscle movement. Think of the types of instrument, wind, string, etc. Do they need a lot of muscle movement?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh ! I didn't think of those.. I was thinking of like a violin or a guitar

OpenStudy (anonymous):

flute and trombone are both wind and you still use your fingers

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@thomaster what do you think?

thomaster (thomaster):

For most music instruments you don't need very much muscle strenght. and certainly not as much as an athlete does. Playing a music instrument is mostly a brain thing, not an activity that requires strenght. So i'd say the statement is false.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what can I use to support this satment

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do I explain the muscles used to play sports

thomaster (thomaster):

yes, you also use muscles to play music instruments but your statement says that musicians need to train their muscles in order to play an instrument, which is of course false. There might be a few instruments where you needs muscle strenght for but that would be irrelevant because the main part of the instruments don't require much strenght.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh ok! Thanks so much guys!

thomaster (thomaster):

no problem :)
