4+9*ln(x)=25

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

I love what you've done with that equation. Are you planning others?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

actually i was hoping i could get an answer for it i need to solve for x.

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

Oh, Solve or x?! Good call. What's your plan? You could subtract 4 and divide by 9. That should get you started.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Solve for x: 4+9 log(x) = 25 Isolate terms with x to the left hand side. Subtract 4 from both sides: 9 log(x) = 21 Divide both sides by 9: log(x) = 7/3 Cancel logarithms by taking exp of both sides: x = e^(7/3)
