Any help friends? 17. If the linear equation 3x = 9 − 2y is written in standard form, what is the value of B? (Only type the numeric value) 18. What is the y coordinate of the y−intercept of the line that passes through the points (−3, −1) and (1, 7)? (Only type the numeric value) 19. What is the slope of the line passing through the point (3, −4) and perpendicular to the line y = 3x + 5? Write your answer as a fraction. (Only type the numeric value)
for 17, you need to write 3x = 9 − 2y in the form Ax + By = C
in #18, you need to find the equation of the line, then plug in x = 0 to solve for y
19) Hint: If a line has a slope of m, then any perpendicular line to this one will have a slope of -1/m
Thanks so far! I'll reply in a second with my answers if you're still here.
