i wasent there for the lessons now my teacher gave me these questions for a study guide @jim_thompson5910

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

alright, I wasn't sure

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

so after the decimal point you have these places values tenths hundredths thousandths ten-thousandths ... etc

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

so it's the fourth digit over

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

so we start with 112.456789 put space after the 4th digit like this 112.4567 89 notice how the next digit (8) is larger than 5, so we drop 89 and bump 67 up by 1 to get 67+1 = 68 this means we go from 112.456789 to 112.4567 89 to 112.4567 to 112.4568

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

so 112.456789 rounded to the nearest ten-thousandth place is 112.4568
