What do you actually want to learn how to do?

There are a lot of misconceptions about what 'hacking' is.

There are a number of resources dedicated to teaching how to take advantage of security vulnerabilities. Is that what you're after?

Go to school, learn some CS, buy some mountain dew, go back to school, then take a look at the Linux kernel and see what you can do.

He's referring to what a penetration tester does.

Just search google for pen tester positions.

They attempt to penetrate your network ( WITH your permission ) to find any security flaws.

I actually had an ethical hacking class at my school. It was my favorite class ever. They don't teach you anything that security people don't already know, but to someone like myself at the time, it was like they were teaching us black magic.
