Can you check these answers and make sure I'm right? Thank you! Write the equation of the line in slope-intercept form that passes through the points (-2, 6) and (-1, 4). y = -2x + 5 y = 2x - 3 y = 2x + 6 y = -2x + 2 I chose A. Evaluate: -3 - (-6) -3 -18 -9 3 I chose D. If f(x) = -2x + 1, find f(-6). 12 13 -11 -7 I chose A.

I suck at math so I just want to be sure.

hartnn (hartnn):

1st one isn't correct...

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

recheck numbers 1 and 3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay Thank you

hartnn (hartnn):

for 1st, you got slope of line as -2, right ?? then you can plug in any point in, y= (-2)x+c say, y=6, x=-2 and find c

hartnn (hartnn):

for 3rd, just plug in x=-6 in f(x) to get f(-6) -2(-6)+1=... ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Would the first one be D?

hartnn (hartnn):

yes!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yay Awesome!

hartnn (hartnn):

and 3rd ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I haven't figured that one out yet.

hartnn (hartnn):

kk..take your time :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Would the last one be B?

hartnn (hartnn):
