Solve S = 4v2 for v

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i got s/4=v^2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how did you get v = -√(S)/2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you have further information, or was the entirety of the problem to solve for v in terms of S?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i have to square root it? so s/4-v^2 becomes v = -√(S)/2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[v=\frac{ \sqrt{s} }{ 2 }\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay thanks i got it now
