Hi all, Firstly thank you MIT for providing this course! It looks to be exactly what I need as I've always wanted to learn to program as it seems such a handy skill to have but have always found it difficult to know where to start. So the guidance and structure this course provides should be exactly what I need. After saying all that it's Friday night gmt. So no learning tonight for me - I just wanted to familiarize myself with this course and say hello.....Hello everyone and & good luck to you all!

One of the other things that is nice is that there are tons of video, textual, tutorial, and other references to Python. If you get stuck on a topic and want a different lecture, it exists. If you have a different project in mind but want code to start from, it is out there. These days Python is a very strongly supported language, so lots of resources you can pull from.
