a beta particle is just a high energy electron, so there is no change in the elements identity, i.e. no change in the number of protons

beta particles has more penetrating ability then alpha because its has less ionising ability then alpha. Beta travels at 90% speed of light then alpha which travels at 10% speed of light.

The answer will be C beta particles cannot pass through concrete as they have low penetrating power the loss of beta particle causes an increase in the element's ATOMIC number by 1 and beta has more penetrating power so only C is incorrect!
