The length of the side opposite 30 degrees in a 30-60-90 triangle is the adjacent side times the tangent of 30. Tangent of 30 is [sqrt(3)]/3

The length you want is: (3)(tan 30) Above I said that tan 30 is [sqrt(3)]/3 So, (3)[sqrt(3)]/3. That equals what?
