2^log_2(5x) = 5x
How did you get that?
a^log_a(x) = x
if you don't want to use that property u can also prove that 2^log_2(5x) = 5x
2^log_2(5x) = y take log_2 of both sides log2(5x) = log2(y) 5x = y

if you need to prove it...make a note that log(x) is injective. not sure how much you need to say.
or raise each side to the exponent of base 2...
log2(5x) = log2(y) 2^log2(5x) =2^log2(y) ---> 5x=y
