Please help If T: (x,y) → (x-3,y+2), then T^-1: (x,y)→______. (x+3,y+2) (x+3,y-2) (x/3,y/2) (3x,-2y)

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

The transformation T and the transformation T^-1 are complete opposites of each other

hartnn (hartnn):

if x becomes X-3, in inverse transformation, X will become X+3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so it's the second one.

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

so T moves the point A to A' T^-1 moves A' back to A

hartnn (hartnn):

yes.
