\[\frac{(a-4)(a+3)}{a^2-a}\div\frac{2(a-4)}{(a+3)(a-1)}\\=\frac{(a-4)(a+3)}{a(a-1)}\times\frac{(a+3)(a-1)}{2(a-4)}\\=\frac{(a+3)^2}{2a}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can anyone help me with this?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

For factoring \[x^2+5x-6\] we should find two numbers a and b such that ab=-6 and a+b=5 We can take : \[a=6~~~b=-1\] So : \[x^2+5x-6=(x+a)(x+b)=(x+6)(x-1)\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh okay

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait idk which one it is?
