HELP WITH THIS ALGEBRA!!!! http://assets.openstudy.com/updates/attachments/51b26e16e4b06ee3ee27cd8e-goldyyy-1370648537248-untitled.jpg PLEASE!
I have solved it there !
Multiply each of the answers and see which answer is the trinomial you are supposed to factor.
Or you could think of two numbers who product is -6 and whose sum is 5 and use those.
Here is what we know. Since it is a -6 (at the end) The signs will be different. We also see that +5x is positive, then the larger factor of 6 will be positive. Finally factors of 6 are (3, -2) (6, -1) which of these will work.
(3, -2)?
The middle 2 can't work, as the results of the addition will not be positive for the +5x
The last one can't be, as it sums up a positive, but not a +5 It sums up to a +1.
is choice a? http://assets.openstudy.com/updates/attachments/51b26e16e4b06ee3ee27cd8e-goldyyy-1370648537248-untitled.jpg
Pretty much.
ohh okay, thanks
You are welcome, but think about it and work some more. Practice makes perfect. Or a Kruschev stated "Repetition is the mother of knowledge".
right okay
