Marcia drew a scatter plot comparing the number of people who bought tickets to the school play and the amount of money raised by the event. She graphed the ordered pairs (number of tickets,money raised) for each date of the play. Which of the three plots most represents the data?

I'm going to assume the horizontal axis is for measuring the number of people who buy tickets, while the vertical measures the total amount of money raised. Wouldn't selling more tickets result in raising more money? i.e. shouldn't there be a *positive* correlation and thus a *positive* slope? Which of these has a positive slope? Well, the one that's increasing, i.e. III.
