covert from radian measure to degree measure: pi/6. PLEASE HELP. SO LOST!

divide by pi and multiply by 180 degrees
\[\pi = 180 ^{\circ}\]
so i divide 6 by pi or 180?
sooooo confused.
to convert radians to degrees it is multiplied 180/pi. and for degrees to radians its multiplied pi/180

so for radians to degrees we get: (pi/6) * 180/pi = 30 degrees
im so confused. i understand what you are saying. but i dont know how to work it out myself. lol sorry. so like pi x 6 or pi divided by 6
