find the square area of parallelogram?
|dw:1370679172871:dw|
do you know the formula for finding the area of parallelogram?? @RaniaW
|dw:1370679392045:dw|
@ganeshie8
yea Maya it is :A=base *height
Okay, then multiply... \(A=5\times6.9\)
but this formula doesn't solve it !!
correct \[\huge area~of~llgm=Base \times Height\] where base=6.9 cm and height=5 cm plug these values in this equation and solve it
no it's not because there is a multiple choose : a.69cm^2 b.29.1 c.17.3 d.34.5
\[\huge 6.9 \times 5=34.5\] so option D is correct answer
and the correct answer is (a ) but i don't know why?!
are you sure the correct answer is option A @RaniaW
yes
im not even sure how to get base x height from this figure..... :\
there is many questions like it and i don't know which formula use
no, option D is correct answer I think there is a misprint of your answer
Can someone explain this in detail? lol. How is the height of that....5..
i don't think they will make a mistake with 20 questions like it
@Jhannybean its height or altitude or perpendicular=5cm
i think you figure is wrong
@RaniaW leave it.....the correct answer is option D......
it's ok, anyway thank you
I think Mayank is right, it is D and there is mistake in the question.
Im lost :| hahaha.
correct @Thoughts
You just have to use the formula : \(\textbf{Area of } ||^{\mathsf{gm}} = \mathsf{base} \times \mathsf{corresponding }\space \mathsf{height} \)
@RaniaW forgot that option A is correct answer. Finally, correct answer is option D and also consult with your teacher
It helps if you can take a screenshot and attach it. Im sure all questions cannot have typos like these
nice idea!! @ganeshie8
Also,\(\huge \color{blue}{\mathsf{Welcome} } \space \color{orange}{\textbf{To}} \space \color{red}{\mathsf{OpenStudy}} \color{gold}{!!!} \)
Bleh. Geometry is so difficult T_T
sorry @RaniaW again: \[\huge \color{hotpink}\bigstar \color{hotpink}\bigstar \color{red}{Welcome}~\color{green}{To}~ \color{blue}{Open~Study}~\color{hotpink}\bigstar~\color{hotpink}\bigstar\]
it's ok :)
but this is the question like the way i draw by it
and this another question
@ganeshie8
now that's easy LOL
Is their any difference in "square area" and "area" ?
No one can be so stupid to say those answers as incorrect, there may be 1 mistake , but not 2 . I think there is something different in "square area"
i think there is a difference
thats a junk site. find some other site for your practice
LOL it's fine there's a trick in play it would be clear that the height is 5 cm and that the base is 6.9 cm
the good thing about geometry is that you can turn it in different ways to something you are comfortable with and it still remains the same. they are just shapes after all
yeah that gives mayank's answer. And, there is no such thing as "square area of parallelogram". leave that site Rania, don't waste your time
LMAO if ganeshie8 does not approve of it, then it must be a crappy website :P
lol every q it says the answer is A. site is broke http://www.freemathpracticetest.com/tests/geometry/parallelogramsarea/geometry-parallelograms-area-math-practice-test.html
its okay you can skip parallelograms practice i guess, you seem to have good knoledge about parallelograms already :)
:)
