We all know about the modern view of friction "The more are the no. of contacts, max. will be d force reqd to move that object as in the case of 2 mirrors being placed over each other. They r very smooth bt still a large force is reqd to move them" now my ques is that at most places it is written that if there is no friction then we would not be abl to hold any object & for eg. 'if we try to pick up a laptop it will fall as soon as we try to pick it up....' but but but but according to the modern view we should be able to hold the laptop in our hands very very tightly,acc to d modrn view....
